Reminder:

National De-lurking Week Continues

According to Wikipedia, the verb to "de-lurk" means to start contributing actively to a community having been a lurker previously.

There are also some who lurk on a forum habitually, and rarely, if ever, contribute. It is generally difficult to guess how many such lurkers are present, due to their silence.

Are you a lurker? If you are it's time to post a comment. You know who you are...what are you waiting for?

Are you so excited for your Oktoberfest this weekend??? I am!!!John has been feeling really cruddy lately. I hope he will be able to come and feast on Kraut and wurst's... And if he doesn't don't forget about "peanut". He's part German too and will be helping me eat John's share... let me know if I can help at all.

Were you still planning to have your Oktoberfest this weekend? You said you were not sure the other day, let us know.

So far we are still on for the Oktoberfest. The stomach flu seems to be lasting about 12 hours, so I think we will all be well over it by then. I will be spending the next few days sanitizing my house to get rid of all the germies. If we decide to cancel we will have to let everyone know by Saturday...however, I have a refrigerator full of bratwurst, kraut and fondue, so we will eventually have to eat it!!!

Just thought I would post here to amend the previous comment. We are going to cancel the Oktoberfest as I don't want to risk getting others sick...and as you may imagine, I have a lot of catching up to do with my housework (all but the laundry that is!)

OK, I'll come out of the closet and admit it - I am a lurker.

There, I feel better not having to hide it from everyone.
