Oweeee

Don't have much to say today...I took a nasty fall down our front steps this afternoon while going to check the mail. Skinned my knees, elbows, palms and tore a 6" gash into my shin. It will most likely turn into a lovely scar. I probably should have stitches, but my neighbor came and put sterri stips on for me...add to that, my allergies kicked in today. I have a long day tomorrow as I will be going to the Enchanted Forest with Natalie's kindergarten class field trip. Zander will be coming along too. I'll be sure to post photos in the next day or so.

Your fall sounds like something I would have done to myself.

Be careful on the field trip tomorrow, you do not need to aggravate your knees or shins with a lot of walking.

Ohhh..man! It totally sounds like a nasty fall. What happened? I am so so sorry Alyssa. Boy, you really bit it! What is it with you and stairs and steps?? just kiddn'
I really really am sorry you got hurt. I am glad you didn't brake any bones.
Both Shawn and Hunter have allergies really bad. Poor Hunter's eyes have been so itchy, he was rubbing them all through his Kinder Graduation tonight. We forgot to give him some allergy medicine.
I will pray for you tomorrow and your field trip. I am sure you are a little gimpy and sore from your fall. I pray you can keep up with all the little ones and that you have a good time inspite of your injuries.
Get well!

I hope you can rest a bit over the weekend, since you will not be resting today. What kind of place are you going to? It sounds nice.

I have never had such bad allergy symptoms as I have this spring. I have never had to take allergy medications until this year. I hope the outdoor field trip doesn't bother you too much. You are such an active mom, you definitely deserve some r & r! Take care!

Do keep that leg up as much as you can. I seem to remember you getting very bloody in about the same area many years ago only both legs - from falling when riding Shawnie's bike, if I remember correctly.

My poor baby. When you were showing me what happened yesterday, I could feel odd sensations in my lower legs. My mother used to say that 'she could feel it in her ankles' when someone got hurt. Strangely enough, that was exactly what happens to me... or I get weak in the knees. Explain that one to me.

Don't you hate it when you cannot remember exactly what happened?
