Our first pool party this year

Today the temperatures were climbing up into the low 90's so what better way to cool off than to go for a swim in the Ernst pool...that hasn't been heated yet! We sent out last minute invitations via email and although many couldn't make it due to conflicting mid-week activities, we still managed to gather over 15 kids and their parents for an afternoon of swimming and playing.

Our neighbor Ben remembered the inflatable kayak from last year and asked if we could bring it out. It was a hit and all the kids took turns paddling around the pool. Zander enjoys being paddled around by the older kids.

Natalie is still getting used to the water and enjoyed hanging out in the inner tube.

The youngest little swimmers, both under 3 months, preferred to rest in the shade. Baby Matthew is 6 weeks and baby Brandon will be three months soon.
After grazing the food table, Hayden decided he would try a few chocolate covered strawberries.

Not to be out-done by his buddy Hayden who is 6 months younger, Isaac decides to devour a watermelon slice from the inside out.

Popsicles are a yummy treat on a hot day. Mmm...frozen food coloring!

It has been so hot, you are so blessed to have your pool. I am glad you are enjoying it. Thanks for the invite, we were sorry to have missed out.

We had a blast, thank you so much for having a pool. hehehehe. It is so fun to watch the kid play together now that Isaac is older. Soon Matthew and Brandon will be playing too!
