Snow Much Fun!

Brrrrrrrr!

Before it snowed much, the kids were already out there
making tracks in the grass.

A few hours later, it hailed and snowed until the ground was completely white. Our house looks good covered in snow, don't ya think?

What to do with snow...hmmm: eat, play, throw!

Come on guys, I want to play too!

Our snow covered road.

Hayden's first time in the snow. Once he got outside,
he walked all over the place.I could hardly keep up
with him to take his picture.

With Zander, it's all about snowball fights...look out!

This was the wildest sunset I have seen in a while.
It almost looked as if the trees were on fire.

Well it's dark out now, but I can see that it just started to snow again.
Maybe the kids will get to have a snow day tomorrow! Hooray for Snow!!!

What a wonderful day. It is nice when you don't have to go any place and can enjoy the snow. I loved Hayden's running along. He is quite a kid. Nat and Zander look like they had a great time.

The sunset was beautiful. I am so glad you can see it so well. That is just the trees just beyond your property, isn't it. It looks like it should have Mt. Something attached to it.

It's supposed to put down a bit of white tonight. Enjoy.

Love, Mom

Great pictures Alyssa!
I think that that sunset photo is one of the best and brilliant I have ever seen! What a lucky shot to capture that at that time, sunsets change so quickly.

You guys got a lot of snow! A lot more than we got. Where on Earth did you get those coats for your boys? OMG- what little men they look like in those grown up little jackets. Very Gapish, I love it!

ANd yes, your house does look lovely with all the snow. It's a beautiful home.

Hope we get more snow!

The coats are both from Old Navy (which as you know is like Gap). The one Hayden is wearing used to be Zanders. I just got Zander's new coat a couple weeks ago, so I know they still sell that one. I always buy them a size too big so they can enjoy them for more than just one year.

We did get a lot of snow compared to others in the area. I think I was the only one with snow still piled on my car this morning when I took Natalie to school. Shawn said when he drove out to our house, the majority of the snow melted, but then he pulled into our driveway and there was still a bunch left.

It's all gone now, I hope we get more soon, it's so fun to play out with the kids. I just went and bought new gloves so we all have warm hands. I don't know what happened to all the gloves I have bought in year's past. They always seem to get lost or just vanish...kind of like those socks you can never find the match to.

Wow Sue,

That is unusual for your neck of the woods. We are 10 degrees colder than normal. It is very rare to see snow in November and even more rare that it stuck around for a while. We were not prepared and still need to winterize our pipes and a few plants before they are damaged. Brrr! I love the snow, but now that it's all gone and the air is just cold, I think I would rather have your 60-70 degree temperatures!
