As Mayor of Ernstopia I declare this week is National De-Lurking Week. I know there are many of you out there who read my blog who never leave comments, so today it's your turn to post a comment. Don't be a blog-a-phobe...I want to hear from you all. I have been blogging for well over 3 months now and have loved every minute of it...sometimes a little too much! Thank you to those of you who keep me inspired by your encouraging comments. They really brighten my day. My dad put it well when he said 'comments help make it more like a dialogue/conversation than a monologue.'
I hope that today is the day that some of you will turn a corner and send me a note...We'll see how this goes. (I may have to enforce this Anti-Lurking holiday throughout the year!!!)
This holiday is not just for lurkers, regulars who comment, please feel free to pop in and say hello as well. I can't wait to hear from you all!

I enjoy reading your blog as well as the rest of the family's blogs; it helps us all know what is going on with each other better.
I have not had many responses to mine, but I keep trying. I think that for me it gets pretty boring just rehashing what went on each day, but it is also good in the fact that I can realize what I did or sometimes did not do or get done each day.
Keep on blogging, it is good therapy!
Love,
Dad
I think it's great that we all have blogs. Now we just have to get Toni on board. I agree, it is good therapy. It's also fun to look back and see what I've done...like scrapbooking, only faster and more easily viewed by others.
Ok,I know that it's been awhile since I have commented but I'm back!!! :-)
Just wanted to say Hey!
And, I am excited to try out your pumpkin cookie recipe! (I know about our whole keeping eachother accountable on the whole losing weight and reaching our Skinny by Christmas goal but....I just want to admit right upfront that I will be consuming these cookies) Ok, there I said it! :-)
So...now I am just rambling and well, I think that I'll go and leave some space for all the comments you are gonna get.

I think you will like the cookies. I had one too, but then had to leave the kitchen for fear of eating more. I purposefully made them on Friday knowing that I would be gone all weekend and chances were good that they would all be gone when I returned. I also gave about a dozen and a half to my nieces to take home. If you really want to know, I think the cookie dough is super yummy. It has a mild pumpkin flavor that is so good. I better stop or I am going to get us both in trouble!
Hi Sue
No, you are not a lurker!!! It's funny because I am often surprised when people tell me they read my blog from time to time, because I never know they are there. This was an attempt to get those people to post a note. Ironically, so far, only people who normally post have responded. Oh, well.
I am feeling better now. Dan on the other hand does need some soup. He has a bad cold and lots of conjestion. I gave him some hot tea yesterday, but you are right, there is nothing like chicken soup with lots of broth to make you feel better.
Last night Zander woke up about 1 am throwing up...we have an open house planned for Sunday that very well may end up being cancelled. I hope none of the other kids get sick. Zander is a real trooper and a tough guy. He doesn't have time for being sick. Too much playing to do, ya know! Thanks for posting!
Love,
Alyssa
