Let's talk about SEX

Made you look. Actually I thought about blogging this after my dad told me he saw my pastor on Good Morning America recently. Pastor Ted and his wife have been doing a series called "Sexy Christians," on Wednesday nights. While I don't attend this service, I was excited to find out that they got to share about the series on national TV.

There is even a link at the bottom of the page where you can download and watch the sermons in the comforts of your own home. I think this is a brilliant idea as they also offer Sunday's sermons too.

Pastor Ted is an amazing speaker and I have really enjoyed his sermons over the past 8 years. He always talks about things that seem so relevant in our lives. We always leave church feeling better than when we got there. I like Pastor Ted because he is real and honest and cares deeply for people. He doesn't come across as "holier than thou" and doesn't get all caught up in Christianeese. He uses examples that are entertaining, moving and convicting, yet easy for the non-believer or new Christian to relate to. Here is his bio:

The only bummer is that in a church of 7,000 (5 services on the weekends), you don't really get to know your pastor on a more personal level. That would be my only complaint. At times it has made me long for a smaller church, but it's hard to pull away from his good teachings.
