Today was Zander's Valentine's party at preschool. It was a lot of fun and I'm so glad I could be there to help in his class.
For snack he had chocolate covered heart-shaped pretzles, grapes and yo-gos.

Here is his class photo. Zander told me last night when we were making his Valentines that he has a girlfriend (front row, third from the right). When I asked him what it means to have a girlfriend, he said "she sits by me and I sit by her." Then today as I'm dropping off Zander in the morning I talked to her mom and told her what he said. Then the mom said that while they were at Disneyland last week her daughter kept saying "I miss Zander."

Oh, that is too cute! Hayden has a girl in his class named Carly and he told me the other day that they were going to be friends forever. Today was also his Vday party. Hailey and I went and helped out and anyway, Hayden told me that he picked Carly to be his valentine, he said he choosed her already. Isn't that sweet. They are buds. Interesting enough, she is the daughter of the couple we are getting that house from, it used to be theirs. But, it's so sweet to see who they pair up with and choose as their buddies.
There's just nothing better than a little preschooler with a paper heart hat on, beaded necklace that they made with a homemade heart dough pendant and then their little face all smothered in frosting from a heart shaped cookie they just frosted. So so cute! I just love this age!
No way...Zander's "girlfriend" is named Carly too!
Will Zander's Carly be going to Deep Creek Elementary next year? Then he too will know her "forever". ;-)
