Yesterday we celebrated Memorial day with my Aunt Linda and Cousin Karis from Texas! We don't get to see them very often so it was an extra special treat for us to get to spend a day with them. Thankfully, the weather was nice, so we spent most of our time outside BBQ-ing, swimming and roasting marshmallows...Here are some photos of our time together:

Dan was the first to jump in, then the kids wanted in, so they swam around with him for quite a while before they got cold. Natalie, Becca, Alexis and Zander.
Hayden, who fell and bit all the way through his lip Sunday night, enjoyed feasting on some juicy watermelon. Due to his owie, he has to be careful not to eat things that will irritate his mouth...watermelon was a hit with Hayden.

Aaron built the fire, then the roasting began...Later, aftern it got dark, we all bet Chucky a dollar to dive in...and he did!
The kids had fun roasting and eating their weight in marshmallows.
